I’m a Undergraduate student currently seeking a Bachelor’s of Science in Natural Science with a GIS Minor at the University of Alaska Anchorage. I moved to Alaska from Connecticut in 2016, when I decided it was time to return to school in my pursuit of a job that would provide meaningful work and experiences after joining the military in 2008.

I have focused heavily in biology, conservation, field studies, and GIS in hopes to guide me into a career where I can use my skill set to manage, mitigate, and make record of conservation issues that face the flora and fauna of the world we interact with. Projects I have worked on consisted of: Seed Selection based on fat content of seeds in Wintering Song Birds in Anchorage Alaska(ENVI370), An Investigation of the Spatial and Temporal Ecology of Little Brown Bats (Myotis lucifugus) in Portage Valley Alaska(BIO473), Municipality of Anchorage Trail Data Collection Using ArcMap, Arrow 100 Receivers, and ArcOnline (GEOL375), and currently assessing Winter habitat use and movements of small and large mammal in Portage Valley(BIO498).

I’m an opportunist seeking any chance to work in the field collecting data, ground truthing, analyzing, and aiding in the delivery of answers to the questions we don’t realize we should be asking.
