Stephanie Conlan

I am 21 years old and am a lifelong Alaskan. I come from a blended family with three siblings, two sisters and a brother. I work at Community Covenant Church as a preschool teacher aid and I am a full-time student at the University of Alaska Anchorage. I am a senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Natural Science with a focus in Environmental studies. At the University I perform research in Dr. Douglas Causey's lab, performing work on salmonids in Portage Valley. My education plans for the future include obtaining a master’s degree in Education and becoming a middle school science teacher. In my free time, I can be found on any adventure in the Alaska Wilderness, helping out at my church teaching and serving the youth, or hanging out with friends and family.
